Welcome
Hi, I’m Chantel Rose — a Certified Birth Doula serving the greater Portland, Oregon area.
I believe that every woman holds the innate wisdom to birth her babies. My role is to walk alongside you on this sacred path—guiding you back to your own inner knowing while providing education, resources, and hands-on support before, during, and after birth.
For generations, women were revered as goddesses for their ability to bring forth life. My prayer is that every woman remembers this intrinsic power within her womb, and births with the confidence and inner-knowing that she was made for this.
My calling to doula work began with my own passage from maiden to mother.

As I navigated the modern birth world, I realized how little I truly knew about my options. I felt overwhelmed and disappointed that our culture hadn’t prepared me for this important moment in my life. My mission is to help you access the wisdom and resources that allow you to make empowered choices for yourself and your family. Birth is wild, raw, and beautifully organic—and my intention is to walk beside you, dissolving fear and offering support, so you can cross this sacred threshold feeling powerful, seen, and held.
I bring a calm, grounded presence to my clients, offering both structure and deep emotional care. I hold a Birth and Postpartum Doula certification from Cornerstone Doula Trainings and am in the process of becoming a Traditional Health Worker (THW) with Oregon State Birth Doulas, which will allow me to bill OHP Insurance.
My background in herbal studies, body-based healing, and a lifelong practice of listening to the body’s quiet wisdom all weave into the way I support families—physically, emotionally, and energetically—always honoring what is best for my clients.
I believe we were never meant to birth alone. Throughout history, women were held by the village—mothers, aunties, sisters, and friends gathering to support the sacred unfolding of birth. Today, that village is harder to find. Many of us are turning to medical systems to tell us what our bodies and babies need, often without the support of a trusted circle. My work is to shift that power back—to you, the mother. To offer grounded information and care that supports your ability to make the choices that are truly yours.
Mothers need other mothers. We need connection, care, and someone to sit with us in the unknown. The old saying “it takes a village” isn’t just about raising children—it starts with holding the mother as she brings new life into the world.
As a doula, I aim to be part of that village for you.
Clients often describe me as intuitive, nurturing, and grounded. I’m not here to tell you how to give birth—I’m here to walk alongside you, offering presence, practical support, and steady care as your story unfolds.

Every birth is different.
Every mother is different.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
